Introductory Project - Exchange Application
In order to begin the Exchange Program, we will need to have a profile of who you are for our records. Note that the Personal Statement Part 1 is mandatory, but you may choose any other option to earn the remaining 30 points, if you wish (which will be submitted as "extra credit"). Please send your entire application in one e-mail. Only the first 60 points that you attempted will be graded. E-mail your completed application to [email protected] with the subject line "Application - [Your HOL ID]". So if I were sending mine in, it would say "Application- iv823" in the subject line.
The final due date for applications is January 18th, 2017, 11:59PM HOL time. Please also include your name, house, and HOL ID at the top of your e-mail. I need this info to give you your hard-earned points, so double check that it's there! I will NOT accept attachments - please send your entire application in the body of the e-mail, or else I won't grade it. If you have any questions or need help with anything, please don't hesitate to send me a HOL message (my ID is iv823) or find me on IRC. I am always happy to help! Failure to format the application properly (i.e., as stated above) will result in a warning the first time, and a 2 point penalty for any times afterwards.

Personal Statement Part 2 (30 points - Optional)

Introduce yourself to the exchange program staff!
- Who are you?
- Why do you want to go on exchange?
- What are you most excited for?
- What are your other responsibilities and/or classes back at HOL? What do you do with your spare time there?
- Which style specialization do you think you'll choose, and why? (Note: It didn't have to be listed in the lesson - just keep with the theme offered in the lesson: a hands-on activity that might affect the way you move with your wand).
- Do you already want to sign up for some of the classes mentioned in the lesson, or are there any others you're hoping Beauxbatons offers?
- Is there anything else you want the Exchange Program Coordinator to know?

Research Skills (30 points, Optional)
In the lesson it was mentioned that Ansellus and Avelina's children took over Beauxbatons after their parents died. Please do some extra research (i.e., use your imagination!) on either one or all three of the children and tell me more about them. What were their names? What were they like? Which ones went off to pursue other careers, and what were those careers? What were their favourite subjects? Did they like studying at Beauxbatons or were they embarrassed? (Min. 150 words)
